Life Festival 2014 is about forward thinking music. It’s about showcasing the finest electronic artists over a three day open-air weekender and once again, Belvedere House will act as the backdrop for this celebration of talent. Relax in the sun by the lakeside stage, chill out in the shade of the wooded areas or bask in the glory of the main arena, whatever your musical preference, Life Festival has the line-up and the setting for you. So join us this May in welcoming some of the world’s most accomplished producers, musicians and artists to our stages.
Belvedere House Gardens and Park Mullingar, Co.Westmeath. The scenic grounds of Belvedere House provide the perfect setting for Life Festival 2013. The green fields, woodland areas and large lake all make for an ideal setting just one hour outside Dublin city centre and accessible via the M4 and N4.

Bus

Please support the environment by leaving the car at home and take our luxury coach to and from Belvedere House.

We ensure that everyone who wants to will get a seat on the bus, but in order to ensure arrival at a specific time, please pre-order your ticket to avoid disappointment. Advance tickets will be available online closer to the event.

Train

A shuttle Bus service will be available from Mullingar Train station to the festival site. Schedule to be announced soon.

Car

From Dublin
* N4 (sign posted Sligo).
* Continue forward on to the M4 (sign posted Sligo) to Mullingar.
* Toll Plaza on this route.
* Continue forward on N4 (sign posted Sligo).
* After LIDL, leave the N4 at junction 15. (Sign posted Tullamore/Belvedere House).
* At the top of the slip road take a left.
* At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N52 sign posted Tullamore/Belvedere House.
* Continue through the roundabouts following signs for Tullamore/Belvedere House.
* Turn right off the N52 at the Belvedere House Exit.

From Galway
* N6 Signposted Dublin.
* Continue on the N6 through Kilreekil, and then forward on the N6 to Ballinasloe.
* Turn right onto Bridge Street- N6 (sign posted Dublin).
* Continue forward on the N6 entering Crannagh.
* Continue forward on the N6.
* New motorway now open, the M6 (sign posted Dublin).
* Follow signs for Dublin.
* Take the Tyrellspass exit for Mullingar.
* Join the N52 towards Mullingar.
* Continue forward on the N52 to Mullingar for approximately 11km.
* Turn left off the N52 at the Belvedere House exit.

From Belfast
* From Belfast take the A1 signposted The South, Dublin, Newry.
* Continue forward on the M1 signposted Dublin.
* Leave the M1 at junction 16 exit for Ardee onto the N52.
* Continue forward on the N52 through Ardee, Kells, Clonmellon and Delvin towards Mullingar.
* On approaching Mullingar turn left onto the N4 signposted Dublin.
* Take next exit at Junction 15 off the N4. (Follow signs for Tullamore/Belvedere House).
* At the roundabout take the 3rd exit.
* At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N52. Follow signs for Tullamore/Belvedere House.
* Continue through the roundabouts following signs for Tullamore/Belvedere House.
* Turn right off the N52 at the Belvedere House Exit.

From Cork

* N8/M8 sign posted Dublin.
* Continue forward onto the N8 Entering Abbeyleix.
* At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the N80 (signposted Carlow).
* Continue forward onto the N80 Entering PortLaoise.
* From Portlaoise take the N80 to Tullamore.
* From Tullamore take the N52 to Kilbeggan.
* Approaching Kilbeggan take the M6 signposted Dublin.
* Take the Tyrellspass exit for Mullingar.
* Join the N52 towards Mullingar.

Camping

General Camping
Life Festival has a large camping area with toilets, showers and a small food market. Every festival ticket gives access to the campsite.

Boutique
Information on boutique camping will be available soon.

Campervans

A campervan/caravan ticket must be purchased in advance to allow access into the campervan/caravan area, and each person entering this area must be a weekend Festival ticket holder.
These designated areas of the site are the only places where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles – and these vehicles will only be allowed in the fields if they have living accommodation with fitted sleeping facilities and either fitted cooking or washing facilities.

Showers

The campsite is fitted with Green Tree Showers luxury mobile shower units with a specialised pump system that will provide you with a hot powerful shower every time.
Robustly engineered, they meet all the highest Building, disability and health and safety regulations. There is certified level of Bio-Security provided which protects against cross contamination and ensures that each unit is decontaminated to a medical standard at all times. All decontamination processes and products are FULLY bio-degradable and non-toxic, therefore protecting our aquatic environment.

What time does the festival end at?


The festival will be ending at midnight on Sunday the 25th of May. The festival site must be vacated by 12:00 midday on Monday the 26th of May.

Will there be anywhere to buy food or drink at the festival?


There will be a selection of vendors selling a delicious assortment of food and refreshing drinks.

When will the rest of the line up and the set times be announced?


Good things come to those who wait, however Rome wasn't built in a day! The rest of the line up and set times will be released in due time to give you that extra bit to look forward to.

What kind of facilities will be at the festival?


The festival site is equipped with the highest standard of Portaloos available. The campsite is also equipped with Green Tree Showers luxury mobile shower units with a specialised pump system that will provide you with a hot powerful shower every time.

What kind of ID do you accept as proof of age?

Where can I park? Is it Free? Is it far from the campsite?


Parking for the festival is located as close to the front entrance as possible, which is only a mere 10 minute walk from the campsite. Parking for the weekend is € 10
