Age Restrictions

Life Festival is a STRICTLY over 18’s event.

When and Where is Life Festival 2023

Life Festival 2023 will take place between 26th– 28th May, 2023 in Belvedere House Gardens & Park, Mullingar, Co. WestMeath.

  • PLEASE NOTE: GATES OPEN EVERYDAY AT MIDDAY AND CLOSE AT 9:00 PM

  • ( No entry after 9pm)

What you can/can’t bring?

Certain items are not allowed within the arena or the campsites.

  • You may be body and/or bag searched at the entrance, onsite or on leaving. Any item(s), which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the arena or other parts of the site may be searched.

  • All of the prohibited items must be surrendered or removed from the site. Anyone refusing may face Eviction.

  • Surrendered items will not be returned.

  • Prohibited Items:

    Smoke & Gas canisters, 

    BBQs including disposable ones

    Aerosols excluding hygiene/beauty products,

    Airhorns, fireworks, flares, 

    Glass - all glass bottles must be decanted into plastic

    Illegal substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’

    Laser equipment/pens, megaphones, 

    Nitrous oxide, sky or ‘Chinese’  lanterns

    Sound systems

    Spray cans, 

    Tabards/high viz jackets

    Drones

    Anything that might be considered a weapon

Food & Drinks at Life

There will be full bar and many food stalls throughout the festival, offering everything from traditional pie and mash to freshly made tacos.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?

Yes, each person on a weekend camping ticket only is allowed to bring 48 cans OR 1 litre of Spirits OR 1.5 litre of Wine for personal consumption. These can be brought into the campsite but NOT in the main arena until 1:00AM. No glass bottles are allowed. Please drink responsibly.

Alcohol can be brought onto site at time of first entry only. There is no re-entry with alcohol once wristbanded.

Can I bring glass bottles?

For safety reasons you are not allowed to bring glass bottles into either the camping or festival site. Alcohol within your limit must be decanted into reusable containers. Any glass items, except for small make-up items and perfume/aftershave will not be permitted into the campsite or festival site. Glass can be decanted into re-usable plastic bottles.

WATER POINTS

There are free drinking water points throughout the campsites and arena and you can find these next to the toilet blocks.

FESTIVAL CHECKLIST

Don’t bring more than you need as you’ll need to take it home again! Most things can be bought on site if necessary.

  • Entry Ticket & ID ( IMPORTANT)

  • Medication, if required. Please keep it in it’s original container.

  • Clothing for all weather and comfortable footwear

  • Camping equipment including a sleeping bag and ground mat

  • An empty reusable bottle. 500ml or less

  • Refuse sacks for rubbish, recycling and any wet/dirty clothing..
